          My practice is located in the heart of Brooklyn, NY, where I specialize in the field of Endocrinology and Metabolism. As an endocrinologist I treat patients with hormonal disorders. Even though close to every organ in the body responds to hormones (including brain, heart, lungs, kidneys and even skin), an endocrinologist deals with those organs that are directly involved in the production and secretion of these hormones. The organs include the pancreas, thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary, ovaries and testes, and the adrenal glands. I am dedicated to the diagnostic evaluation of a wide spectrum of symptoms as well as in the management of excess or deficit of one or more hormones.

          Being an endocrinologist involves caring for the patients and their families, and not just the diseases themselves. Treating patients with diabetes or hypothyroidism, for example, necessitates understanding of the patients’ emotional, social, intellectual as well as molecular dynamic, which all interplay in an ultimately successful therapeutic outcome.
